FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are moving to get power of a wildfire that broke retired adjacent Coalinga connected Tuesday afternoon.

The Boone Fire is presently burning on Highway 198 and Boone Lane.

The occurrence has burned 704 acres with nary reported containment, according to the latest update from CAL FIRE's website.

The road has been unopen down eastbound and westbound of Boone Lane.
