Several injured in head-on crash near Firebaugh, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Several radical were injured aft a teen crashed head-on into a Toyota adjacent the municipality of Firebaugh, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP says astatine 12:25 am, Sunday officers responded to a clang involving 2 vehicles successful the country of Nees and Oxford avenues. 

Investigators accidental a 17-year-old lad was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound connected Nees Avenue astatine a stated velocity of 60 miles per hour.

At the aforesaid time, CHP says a 21-year-old driving a 2014 Toyota Sienna eastbound, approaching the Chevrolet Tahoe, astatine a stated velocity of 58 miles per hour. 

CHP says, for reasons unknown, the teen veered into the other lane and collided head-on with the Toyota.

The drivers and occupants of some vehicles were wearing seatbelts and were transported to a section hospital.
