PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A schoolhouse teacher has been arrested aft allegedly pushing a pupil successful Porterville, the Porterville Police Department said.
Officers accidental they began investigating an incidental involving a schoolhouse teacher, identified arsenic 53-year-old Paige Boyd of Tulare, that occurred connected Oct. 24 aft receiving a study from the bureau of Child Welfare Services, alleging abuse.
Police accidental the referral indicated that Boyd allegedly pushed a pupil to the ground. Detectives assumed the investigation, gathered further evidence, and an apprehension warrant was authored for Boyd.
On Nov. 7, detectives responded to Boyd's location and said she was arrested without incidental nether suspicion of kid abuse/endangerment. She was transported and booked astatine the Tulare County Sheriff's Office South County Detention Facility and has since bailed retired connected a $25,000 bond.
This lawsuit is inactive nether probe by the Porterville Police Department's Investigation Division.
