'Prank' threat sees Fresno student arrested, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) –  A pupil astatine Fresno's El Capitan Middle School was arrested aft allegedly making a societal media menace against Ahwahnee Middle School, the Fresno Police Department announced connected Tuesday.

Police accidental that connected Nov. 18, officers contacted the pupil astatine El Capitan Middle School, wherever the pupil admitted that helium did marque the post, but that it was a "prank." 

The pupil was arrested and was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center.

Police accidental the fearfulness created by the societal media posts is unacceptable, and the suspects volition beryllium charged with a crime.
