'Intentional' explosion at Santa Maria Courthouse leaves 2 injured, 1 detained

Santa Barbara County, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two radical were injured Wednesday greeting aft what officials telephone an "intentionally set" detonation astatine the Santa Maria Courthouse, according to the Santa Barbara County Office.

According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the courthouse astatine astir 8:45 a.m. for reports of an explosion.

The Sheriff's Office says the detonation was from an "intentionally acceptable improvised explosive device."

One antheral was detained and 2 radical were reported to person non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of those progressive person not been officially released.

The Governor's Office and the state's Office of Emergency Services are some said to beryllium monitoring the detonation astatine the Santa Maria Courthouse and moving with instrumentality enforcement.
