FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno constabulary cadet is retired of a occupation aft being arrested connected a weapons charge.

Fresno constabulary officials accidental they were informed of 27-year-old Joshua Brown being investigated by the FBI successful June.

Brown was hired by the section successful September 2023 arsenic a cadet.

Cadets are not authoritative constabulary officers and typically assistance certified officers with hopes of becoming certified themselves.

He was taken into custody by the FBI connected September 3 and booked into the Fresno County Jail connected a national weapons charge.

Brown has since been fired and is nary longer employed by the city.

Following the arrest, 2 different section employees person been placed connected paid administrative permission pending an interior investigation.
