Arrest after Porterville's 'elderly citizens' targeted, police say

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Porterville antheral was arrested connected Friday aft detectives accidental helium targeted "elderly citizens" to bargain from them, the Porterville Police Department said.

According to police, connected Friday astatine 3:30 p.m. detectives were investigating a bid of burglaries targeting what the section referred to arsenic "elderly citizens." During the investigation, detectives identified 47-year-old Jason Judy from Porterville arsenic involved.

Detectives executed a hunt warrant astatine his location connected the 1700 artifact of West Brian Avenue. During a hunt of the residence, detectives located stolen spot associated with the reported burglaries, cause paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.

Police accidental Judy was arrested for suspicion of burglary, possession of cause paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and elder abuse.

Judy was booked astatine the Tulare County Sheriff's Office South County Detention Facility.
