2 arrested after shoplifting incident leads to chase in Clovis, police say

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two radical were arrested aft a shoplifting incidental led to a pursuit successful Clovis.

Officers accidental the shoplifting happened astir 10:30 americium Tuesday astatine a store connected Clovis and Herndon.

Store employees told constabulary the suspects were leaving the parking lot, and officers pulled implicit the suspects car.

They sped distant and a little pursuit started.

It was canceled adjacent Bullard and Highway 168.

Officers utilized Fresno Police's Air One chopper to find the suspects.

24-year-old Aliza Vega-Estrada and 25-year-old Matthew Schwarz were some arrested.

Vega-Estrada was recovered with a handgun and her toddler with her.

Schwarz has been a wanted pack subordinate since 2019.

Both suspects were booked into Fresno County Jail for felony kid endangerment, shoplifting and conspiracy.
