Woman dies after crashing pickup into Merced County canal

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 41-year-old pistillate has died aft the pickup motortruck she was driving crashed into an bare irrigation canal successful Merced County Monday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pistillate was traveling connected Meadow Drive adjacent West Lane erstwhile her Ford Ranger drifted disconnected to the right.

Officers accidental it appears she overcorrected, and the motortruck drifted crossed some lanes earlier flipping into the canal. The pistillate was ejected from the vehicle.
