Wanted fugitive found in Chowchilla attic, deputies say

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A wanted fugitive was arrested successful Chowchilla aft deputies recovered him hiding from them successful the attic of a home, the Madera County Sheriff's Office announced Monday.

Deputies study that successful July, the Madera Special Enforcement Team (MADSET) investigated 42-year-old Gary White aft helium reportedly fled the country of a clang portion fleeing from authorities.

Investigators study White was wanted connected 2 felony warrants for charges related to home violence, vandalism, and narcotics.

After MADSET deputies were led to a location successful Chowchilla, a hunt warrant was served connected July 3 connected the residence, but White was not initially found. After utilizing a drone to inspect the attic, White was recovered hiding there.

After learning K9 Canelo was going to beryllium sent in, White surrendered without incidental and was yet booked into the Madera County Jail.
