VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two teens were arrested aft crashing a stolen conveyance into a Cal Fire presumption aboriginal Monday morning, the Visalia Police Department said.

Police accidental astir 2:30 a.m., officers tried to halt a conveyance driving without headlights switched connected adjacent Tulare Avenue and Watson Street. 

The operator of the conveyance failed to stop. The vehicle, according to police, was stolen, went into a cul-de-sac, and drove straight toward different officer’s patrol car, forcing the serviceman to swerve retired of the mode to debar a collision. 

After crashing done the chain-link obstruction astatine the Cal Fire presumption astatine Lovers Lane and Walnut Avenue. Police accidental some occupants, a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old, who fled connected foot, were taken into custody.

The 2 teenagers were not officially identified. Both were transported to the infirmary for aesculapian clearance earlier being booked into juvenile hall.
