Three cars, including a patrol car, spin out following suspected DUI crash on Highway 41, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. -- Two California Highway Patrol officers and 2 others are recovering Sunday greeting aft a suspected DUI clang successful Central Fresno.

CHP was conducting a postulation halt connected a Chevy Equinox astatine 1:30 a.m. connected Highway 41, southbound of Ashlan Avenue, earlier merging into the highway.

Investigators accidental 28-year-old Jacob Perry crashed into the backmost of the patrol car soon aft they merged.

Perry was driving a Honda and launched the patrol car into the Equinox, spinning retired each 3 cars.

A rider successful the Honda sustained large injuries, the 2 CHP officers had mean injuries, and the operator of the Equinox had insignificant injuries.
