FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Thousands of nails had to beryllium picked up with brooms and magnets aft being scattered crossed a Fresno roadway connected Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to Fresno Area CHP, the nails spilled onto some lanes of Highway 41, northbound Shaw Avenue on-ramp aft an unsecured container fell from the backmost of a truck.
In a societal media post, CHP said "Thankfully not excessively galore tires were nailed successful the process."



Patrol officers accidental astir 2,000 nails had to beryllium collected from the roadway. Clean-up took Caltrans astir 45 minutes total.
