Teen found with illegal gun after traffic stop in Madera, police say

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A teen was arrested during a postulation halt successful Madera aft being recovered with an unregistered gun, according to the city's constabulary section connected Friday.

The City of Madera Police Department says detectives contacted the 17-year-old operator aft conducting a postulation halt adjacent Ellis and D streets successful Madera connected Friday afternoon.

During a hunt of the vehicle, the constabulary section says the teen was recovered with a loaded, unregistered Glock-style 9mm handgun.

According to officials, helium was arrested successful transportation with respective weapons-related charges and booked into the Madera County Juvenile Hall.
