Suspicious device prompts evacuation of Northwest Fresno home

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police evacuated a location successful Northwest Fresno aft a telephone came successful for a suspicious and imaginable explosive instrumentality recovered by caregivers of a foster child.

"One of the caregivers determination gave america a telephone of a suspicious instrumentality they located. It appears to beryllium perchance an explosive device. Our officers arrived, we evacuated that location and each the radical wrong the location are retired and safe," said Fresno Police Department Lt. Alfonso Castillo.

The instrumentality was recovered adjacent Marks and Celeste Avenues.

Several different adjacent homes were besides evacuated.
