Suspect arrested in 'suspicious death' in Merced County, deputies say

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Deputies person identified and arrested the fishy progressive successful a "suspicious death" from Wednesday successful Merced County.

The Merced County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 46-year-old Timothy Fontes Thursday greeting successful transportation with a "suspicious death" from Wednesday that turned into a homicide investigation.

It happened connected the 4600 artifact of Hunt Road successful Gustine. Deputies accidental they recovered a antheral suffering from a gunshot wound, who died.

Detectives reported that Fontes was down the thoroughfare from the transgression scene, and the sheriff's SWAT squad assisted with the apprehension.

Deputies accidental Fontes was booked into the Merced County Sheriff's Office Jail and is facing homicide charges. The individuality of the unfortunate has not been released.
