FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified the antheral who died successful a clang connected Monday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, astir 1:15 p.m., officers responded to a clang involving a Hyundai Elantra and a Freightliner semi-truck connected North and Temperance avenues.

The Elantra, CHP says, was traveling westbound connected North Avenue approaching the intersection with Temperance Avenue. At the aforesaid time, the Freightliner was going eastbound connected North Avenue toward the aforesaid intersection.

The operator of the Hyundai made a near crook straight into the way of the semi-truck. The interaction forced some vehicles southeast into an orangish orchard astatine the country of the intersection.

The operator of the Hyundai was identified by the coroner arsenic 45-year-old Diego Gutierrez Mogollan of Sanger, who died astatine the scene.

The operator of the Freightliner was not injured.
