Runaway tortoise found in Clovis

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Are you missing a tortoise successful Clovis? 

According to the Clovis Police Department, a ample tortoise was seen walking successful the roadway connected Sunday night. Police accidental a caller described the tortoise walking down the southbound lanes of Thompson Avenue adjacent Ashlan Avenue around  7:30 p.m.

Both a Clovis Police serviceman and a Community Service Officer responded to the scene. The Community Service Officer collected the tortoise and dropped it disconnected astatine the Clovis Animal Services. 

Police accidental the tortoise doesn’t look to person immoderate injuries and is being cared for astatine this clip by Clovis Animal Services.
