Fresno State students, faculty, unit and assemblage partners were honored astatine the Service Recognition Reception connected May 1, hosted by University President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval.
The yearly lawsuit recognizes the exemplary committedness to assemblage engagement exhibited astatine Fresno State. For the past 15 years, the field assemblage has provided successful excess of 1 cardinal hours of service to the Central Valley each year.
Over 173 students were awarded a certificate from Jiménez-Sandoval for completing much than 100 hours of work this year. Also recognized were members of the Humanics program, Community Service Scholarship program, Jumpstart program, College Corps program, Associated Students Inc., the Scholars Service Grant programme and the Richter Center Student Leaders program.
Twelve individuals and organizations received awards for representing a peculiar committedness to Fresno State’s assemblage engagement and service-learning efforts:

- University Student Volunteer of the Year: Alisa Gonzale
- College Corps Legend Award: Juan Reyes.
- Jumpstart Exemplar: Lizbeth Rosales Ochoa.
- Albert Montejano Memorial Scholarship: Celeste Jones.
- Paul DeRuosi Memorial Scholarship: Sophia Riser.
- Servant Leader Award: Chris Fiorentino.
