Retired K-9 from Merced County Sheriff's Office passes away: 'He always brought comfort to children'

MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A K-9 who served the Merced County Sheriff's Office for six years has passed away.

The Merced County Sheriff's Office announced connected Friday that they had bid farewell to Kane, a K-9 serviceman who served from 2015 to 2021.

Officials accidental Kane's superior duties with the Merced County Sheriff's Office were tracking and apprehension. He was besides certified successful sniffing retired ammunition and firearms.
