Over 1,600 illegal marijuana plants found in Madera County grow operation

RAYMOND, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Over 1,600 amerciable marijuana plants were recovered astatine a spot successful Raymond Thursday, the Madera County Sheriff's Office said.

The Madera County Narcotic Enforcement Team (MADNET), with assistance from Madera County Probation, served a hunt warrant successful the 41000 artifact of Road 612 successful Raymond.

During the operation, deputies located and eradicated 1,667 marijuana plants.

Deputies said that 2 individuals were detained and questioned on-site. They were subsequently released pending further investigation.
