FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The State Center Community College District announced connected Tuesday that they person selected Denise Whisenhunt, J.D., arsenic the adjacent president for Fresno City College, pending committee support successful May 2025, with her word opening successful July.
The College District says Whisenhunt is simply a Fresno autochthonal and existent president of Grossmont College. Whisenhunt brings implicit 2 decades of acquisition enactment and a committedness to pupil occurrence and equity.

The enactment followed a broad nationwide hunt involving a 14-member advisory committee and assemblage input.
Chancellor Carole Goldsmith praised Whisenhunt's qualifications and dedication to serving her hometown.

Whisenhunt earned a B.A. successful Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
