Merced County Courthouse Museum celebrates 150th birthday

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- After a small spot of research, the Merced County Courthouse Museum is celebrating its existent 150th birthday.

A marque caller plaque updates the dedication day of the historical gathering to May 5, 1875.

On that day, 150 years ago, the Merced County spot was moved from its archetypal determination successful Snelling to its existent determination successful Merced.

Sarah Lim, the manager of the Merced County Courthouse Museum, says historians recovered that implicit the people of time, determination was a small spot of a mix-up connected the day the existent alteration took place.
