Mariposa County District Attorney Michael McAfee resigns

MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Action News has learned that Mariposa County District Attorney Michael McAfee has resigned.

The Mariposa County Board of Supervisors Clerk says Michael McAfee submitted his missive of resignation connected Monday.

At this time, it is chartless wherefore McAfee resigned.

However, the committee had an exigency gathering yesterday.

The clerk says they cannot remark connected the closed session, arsenic it was a unit matter.

On Tuesday, the committee appointed existent Mariposa County Counsel Walter Wall arsenic interim District Attorney.
