Man dies 1 week after stabbing in southwest Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A stabbing successful southwest Fresno astatine the extremity of April has turned into a homicide investigation.

Police were called retired to Discount General Merchandise Store connected B and San Benito streets connected April 28.

When they arrived, they recovered 58-year-old Leonardo Alejo suffering from an evident stab wound.

Alejo was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and died from his injuries connected Tuesday, May 5.

Police already had 32-year-old Jose Moreno successful custody accused of the stabbing, and the territory attorney's bureau is present moving to alteration his charges.
