MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A antheral was evicted from his makeshift houseboat aft being arrested for a probation usurpation connected Thursday.

According to deputies, 36-year-old Cesar Moran from Newman was staying successful a makeshift "illegal vessel" floating connected the Merced River adjacent Hagaman Park successful Stevinson.

Aboard the floating home, deputies accidental they recovered a .357 Magnum revolver. Per the sheriff's office, Moran was connected probation for gun-related charges and was prohibited from owning a firearm.
