Kayaker who died after flipping over into Fresno County reservoir identified

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A kayaker who died aft falling into the Courtright Reservoir successful Fresno County has been identified.

The Fresno County Sheriff's bureau says the deadly mishap happened soon earlier 8 a.m. Friday.

Investigators accidental 35-year-old Matthias Aguilar of Merced was sportfishing successful a kayak connected the reservoir erstwhile helium fell into the water.

He attempted to aquatics to enactment earlier going underwater.

Friends took him backmost to the enactment and performed CPR.

Aguilar died by the clip deputies and a Skylife chopper arrived connected scene.
