TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A juvenile driving a Toyota Tundra pickup died successful a clang with a crane motortruck Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP says astir 1 p.m.officers responded to the country of Avenue 424 and Road 120. 

Investigators accidental the Toyota was connected Avenue 424, approaching the intersection with Road 120, and had a posted halt sign. The crane motortruck was traveling northbound connected Road 120 and was approaching the intersection with Avenue 424.

The operator of the Toyota, described by officers arsenic a juvenile male, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to CHP, and failed to halt astatine the posted halt motion wherever they collided.

The operator of the pickup died astatine the scene. The operator of the crane suffered superior injuries and was transported to a section hospital.
