Judge dismisses Donald Trump's classified documents case

The classified documents lawsuit against erstwhile President Donald Trump has been dismissed by Judge Aileen Cannon, according to tribunal records.

The justice ruled that peculiar counsel Jack Smith's assignment was unconstitutional.

"The Superseding Indictment is DISMISSED due to the fact that Special Counsel Smith's assignment violates the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution," she wrote.
