IDENTIFIED: Passenger killed after pick-up flies off HWY 180 overpass

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Police accidental the rider who died aft flying disconnected a Fresno overpass connected Tuesday has been identified.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the unfortunate arsenic 47-year-old Sokhoeun Sem Long, of Fresno.

On Tuesday, astir 5:30 a.m., CHP says they received a telephone regarding a clang connected Highway 41 nether the Highway 180 overpass.

On scene, CHP accidental they recovered a 2017 Toyota Tundra wrong the halfway median of northbound and southbound State Route 41. The operator was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with mean injuries; but Sem Long, the passenger, was pronounced dormant upon arrival.

Investigation revealed that the Toyota was traveling westbound connected Highway 180 connected the overpass supra Highway 41. Amid dense rain, the operator mislaid power and veered to the left, crashing done the factual guardrail earlier becoming airborne and falling 25 to 30 feet onto Highway 41.
