FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The antheral who was recovered unresponsive connected Thanksgiving successful a excavation successful northbound Fresno has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner's Office connected Monday.
On Nov. 28, Fresno Police accidental astir 6 p.m. they responded to a study of an unresponsive antheral successful a excavation astatine a location successful the 300 artifact of West Audubon Drive.
Upon arrival, officers extracted the man, identified by the coroner arsenic 82-year-old Richard Hartman of Fresno, from 40-degree water.
Police accidental life-saving measures were attempted, however, helium was pronounced deceased aft being transported to a section hospital.
Investigators are actively moving to find the circumstances surrounding Hartman's death.
