Fresno councilmember plans legislation to block registered sex offenders from seeking office

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno metropolis councilmember Annalisa Perea says she plans to make authorities that would forestall a registered enactment offender from moving for council.

Fresno nonmigratory Rene Campos, who is simply a registered enactment offender, told Action News earlier this week helium plans to tally for the District 7 seat.

That territory includes Old Fig Garden, eastbound cardinal Fresno, and parts of southeast Fresno.

Campos would articulation a crowded tract vying for the spot erstwhile Councilman Nelson Esparza's word runs out.
