Four shot near Howard University, public asked to avoid the area

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Four radical were hospitalized aft a shooting adjacent Howard University connected Friday, according to the DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFEMS).

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to shots being fired successful the country of Georgia Avenue and Howard Place astir 8:30 p.m.

Police said the pursuing roads are closed to some pedestrians and postulation until further notice:

• 2300 done 2500 blocks of Georgia Ave NW
• 700 done 800 blocks of Barry Pl NW

• 2300 artifact of 6th St NW
