VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 40-year-old felon was arrested aft a pursuit, and ammo was discovered Sunday night, according to the Visalia Police Department.

Polce said that around  9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a combat successful a conveyance that was heading northbound from the 1900 artifact of South Lovers Lane. 

An serviceman recovered the conveyance matching the statement astatine the 7-11 connected Lovers Lane and attempted to propulsion it over. 

Investigators accidental the driver, 40-year-old Jesse Hernandez, failed to stop, starring to a pursuit that ended successful the 1100 artifact of North Manzanita Street. 

During a hunt of Hernandez and the vehicle, officers accidental they discovered ammunition and a loaded magazine. 

As a convicted felon, constabulary accidental Hernandez is prohibited from possessing ammunition. 

Hernandez was taken to the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
