KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- CAL FIRE says crews are battling a fast-growing occurrence adjacent the Kern and Kings County lines betwixt Interstate 5 and Highway 33.

The occurrence has already reached 1000 acres.

Smoke tin beryllium seen rising successful the area.

No structures look to beryllium threatened but residents are urged to debar the area.
