Oct. 7: Banned and Challenged Books Exhibit Walkthrough, presented by the Fresno State Library and Cross Cultural and Gender Center LGBTQ2+ Programs and Services, from 2 to 3:15 p.m., TLC Pride Room (Thomas Building, Room 109B). In designation of LGBTQ2+ History Month, LGBTQ2+ and allied students are invited to a walkthrough of Fresno State Library’s Banned and Challenged Books Exhibit led by curator Arantes Armendariz. Oct. 11: Queering Mariachi, presented by Cross Cultural and Gender Center LGBTQ2+ Programs and Services and Latina/o Programs and Services, 5 p.m. astatine Fresno High School (1839 N Echo Ave. successful Fresno). Oct. 29: Queer Talk: “Exploring Queer Pláticas,” with Dr. Ángel González, presented by Cross Cultural and Gender Center LGBTQ+ Programs and Services, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. astatine the Cross Cultural and Gender Center Conference Room, Thomas Building. “Exploring Queer Pláticas” discusses the value of envisioning queer and trans futures.
