Drone assists with arrest of 'known shoplifter' in Clovis, police say

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A 19-year-old was arrested Wednesday aft a Clovis Police drone recovered the fishy trying to flee.

Clovis Police arrested 19-year-old Sean Baker. Police said they were called to the Walmart astatine Herndon and Clovis avenues conscionable aft 8 a.m. for a "known shoplifting suspect."

The Drone First Responder launched, and constabulary said it saw Baker effort to fly connected a stolen bicycle.

Baker, according to police, was tracked by the drone crossed Herndon and was taken into custody successful the roadway.

Baker is present facing charges including shoplifting, possession of burglary tools, and obstructing an officer.
