DOJ sues New Jersey over Sherrill order meant to rein in ICE

The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a Monday suit against New Jersey and its Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D), implicit a caller enforcement bid that bans Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from authorities spot without a judicial warrant.  The authorities wrote that Sherrill is aiming to “intentionally obstruct” national instrumentality enforcement and thwart national migration law.…
