Coalinga PoliK-9 dies: 'Thoughts and prayers are with the handler'

COALINGA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A K-9 serviceman with the Coalinga Police Department died Monday greeting aft suffering a aesculapian emergency, the Coalinga Police Department announced Tuesday.

Police accidental Nitro the K-9 was rushed to the exigency veterinarian successful Fresno by his handler earlier yet succumbing to his illness.

Nitro was certified successful handler extortion and narcotics detection and has worked with the Coalinga Police Department since March 2022.
