FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Approximately 7 pounds of methamphetamine was recovered wrong a bluish Toyota Tacoma during a postulation halt successful Fresno County connected Thursday, the California Highway Patrol said.
Two radical were arrested pursuing the discovery.
On Sept. 11, a CHP sergeant conducted a postulation halt connected a Toyota Tacoma successful Fresno County.
During the interaction with the operator and his passenger, the CHP says the sergeant became suspicious and noticed indicators of transgression activity. The sergeant asked for consent to hunt the Toyota and was granted written consent.


CHP said the sergeant recovered a cardboard container connected the rear rider spot containing astir 7 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.
Agents with the Fresno High Impact Investigation Team (HIIT) were contacted and took implicit the investigation.
The operator and the rider were arrested and are facing aggregate felony charges. CHP said the estimated thoroughfare worth of the seizure is $95,340.
