Children abducted from Hanford found safe

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The 2 children who were abducted from Hanford after their parent was changeable dead person been recovered safe, according to the Kings County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies posted an update connected Thursday announcing that they person located Alana and Arya Maldonado harmless and person taken Jonathan Maldonado-Cruz into custody.

Deputies accidental 23-year-old Jonathan Maldonado-Cruz has been taken into custody. He is suspected of shooting the children's mother, who was besides his ex-girlfriend, and past fleeing with the children en way to Mexico.

The children's abduction from Hanford connected Tuesday evening prompted a statewide Amber Alert.

The children's information oregon wherever they were recovered has not been released by the Kings County Sheriff's Office.
