FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Governor has signed a measure requiring the state's High-Speed Rail Authority to make a backing plan.
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 377 connected Wednesday, requiring the obstruction authorization to update outgo estimates, hazard assessments and work initiation options for the Merced to Bakersfield conception successful its 2026 concern plan.

The measure was authored by Central Valley assemblymember David Tangipa, who called his measure a necessity.
