86-year-old woman dead after head-on crash in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - An 86-year-old pistillate died aft a head-on clang successful Fresno County Monday, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP officers responded to the country of Butler Avenue, westbound of Fowler Avenue, successful unincorporated southeast Fresno County for a study of a head-on collision.

CHP said that the preliminary probe indicated an 86-year-old pistillate from Fresno was traveling eastbound connected Butler Avenue successful a Nissan Versa when, for reasons inactive nether investigation, she drifted into the westbound lane. She drove straight into the way of a Chevrolet Silverado.

The operator of the Silverado was incapable to debar the Nissan, and that is erstwhile the vehicles collided head-on.
