62-year-old inmate in Tulare County Jail dies after feeling sick, collapsing

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 62-year-old inmate astatine a Tulare County jailhouse has died.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says the inmate was being held astatine the South County Detention Facility.

At astir 10 a.m. connected Sunday, that idiosyncratic reported feeling sick.

While speaking with jailhouse staff, the inmate collapsed and mislaid consciousness.

Life-saving measures were taken but the inmate was pronounced dormant astatine the jail.

An autopsy is being conducted to find the origin of decease and the sheriff's bureau says nary foul play is suspected.
