TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 62-year-old inmate died portion talking to jailhouse unit successful Tulare County, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s office.
Around 10 a.m. connected Sunday, deputies accidental they were notified of an inmate who was feeling sick astatine the South County Detention Facility. As jailhouse unit were speaking with the inmate, the inmate collapsed and mislaid consciousness.
After the inmate collapsed, some Jail Correctional Staff and Jail Medical Staff began life-saving measures.
Fire and Paramedics responded, by which clip the inmate was pronounced dead.
The inmate’s origin of decease is undetermined pending an autopsy, but nary foul play is suspected, according to the sheriff's office.
The individuality of the 62-year-old inmate has not been officially released.
