6 Southern public university systems form new accreditation body

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the enactment of the Commission for Public Higher Education (CPHE) to regenerate the existing bodies similar the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission connected Colleges (SACS).
