MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two radical were earnestly injured Wednesday aft crashing into a trailer and becoming lodged underneath successful Madera County, the California Highway Patrol said.
At astir 4:40 a.m., officers responded to a clang astatine the intersection of Avenue 25 and Road 9.
The preliminary probe by CHP indicated that a antheral was driving a grey 2020 Volvo, pulling an enclosed trailer, traveling northbound connected Road 9, approaching the intersection astatine Avenue 25.
CHP said that a 38-year-old pistillate and her passenger, a 22-year-old antheral from El Nido, were successful a grey Toyota Corolla, eastbound connected Avenue 25, approaching Road 9.
The probe revealed that the antheral driving the Volvo failed to halt astatine a motion and entered the intersection, straight into the way of the Toyota.
The Toyota collided with the near broadside of the trailer and became lodged underneath.
The operator and rider of the Toyota suffered large injuries and were transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
The operator of the Volvo was not injured.
