TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A kid was airlifted to the infirmary with large injuries aft mounting disconnected an amerciable firework adjacent West Goshen, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office said.
On Monday, astir 6:30 p.m., deputies were called to the 30600 Block of Markham Road for a kid with injuries caused by a firework.
There, deputies learned that a 12-year-old lad had lit an amerciable firework and, successful doing so, had severely injured his hand. The lad was airlifted to a section infirmary for treatment.
As the Fourth of July draws near, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office says it is important to retrieve to beryllium cautious astir fireworks.
"Fireworks tin beryllium incredibly unsafe and are ever to beryllium handled carefully. Accidents similar this are 100% preventable," deputies said.
